BIKE TOURING: Slow Panorama/Premeno and Intrasca valley

SEASON April-October

Round trip possible even with racing bikes. The descent follows the roads of the Giro d'Italia 2015.

With departure from the Church of Trobaso you climb to Cambiasca and take the Valle Intrasca road that follows the right bank of the River San Giovanni and then reaches Aurano and Segletta and finally the panoramic viewpoint at the branch off to Piancavallo, the highest point of the route at an altitude of 1215 m. From here the long descent toward Premeno begins, passing through Manegra and Luera. After crossing the town of Premeno it is worth taking the detour (3 km one way) to the panoramic viewpoint of Pollino where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Lake. On returning to Premeno you continue the descent through Bee and Arizzano down to the valley bottom and come to the roundabout before the bridge over the River San Giovanni. Taking the road to Possaccio - Miazzina you soon return to Trobaso.
