From September 30th to October 02nd 2022 Ornavasso hosted the XXI Walsertreffen, International gathering of Alps Walser Community, that involved circa 50 groups from Piedmont, Aosta Valley, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein and France, a total of circa 1200 participants.
Among characteristic walser costumes, folklore groups and marching bands, also the Distretto Turistico dei Laghi was present during the days of Friday, Saturday and Sunday with its staff and multilingual brochures, at the Info desk, set up in the Theater in Piazza XXIV Maggio.
Great interest regarding borchures dedicated to the Summer and Winter Outdoor activities: trekking & bike tours, snowshoes path and skiing resort of Neveazzurra.
