Museo Rodari: An enchanting Story
It is an interactive, living, and accessible museum where new models of education and dissemination of intangible heritage can be experimented with, following in the enchanted footsteps of Gianni Rodari.
The museum itinerary has been designed to create a multimedia experience that is engaging, immersive, and accessible to all, with a special focus on children, but also capable of engaging adults and the educated public. The interactive displays combine physical elements with digital video projections, mechanical components, and procedural software, interacting to create an unprecedented narrative of the life and poetry of Gianni Rodari.
Visitors are invited to play an active role to activate the stories and narrative mechanisms of the various installations, without which the museum would have no meaning; it would remain perpetually unfinished. In a museum that does not display objects but stories and experiences, the content to be protected and safeguarded is the visitors and their experience.
In this manner, the museum is transformed into a lively and accessible place where to experiment with new education models and disseminate the intangible heritage, following in the enchanted footsteps of Gianni Rodari.
