“Rifugio Rosmini” is an unmanned mountain hut located in Alpe Veglia. In March 2026, a group of friends, mostly from the Milan area, founded the association “Amici del Veglia” with the aim of taking over the historic holiday house in which the Rosminian Fathers had welcomed young people, families and self-organised groups for decades, and of continuing this long tradition of hospitality and welcome.
The hut offers mountain lovers a comfortable, simple and welcoming place where anyone seeking beauty and simplicity can feel at home.
The hut is located in Ponte, facing the majestic Monte Leone, in a quiet area of the Veglia plateau. It has a large common room on the ground floor, a spacious common room and dining hall on the first floor, as well as several rooms and dormitories, providing accommodation for up to 25 guests. It is open from June to September.
It is the first mountain hut in Italy to be named after Antonio Rosmini.
