Ours is in Quarna, on the heights of Lake Orta, where the air still smells wonderful and the colors of the forest paint a picture faithful to the changing seasons. Here, where the mountains offer coolness in summer and muffled sounds in winter, lies "il Birin," a refuge for the soul, designed for those who need to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, to rediscover their balance and energy at any time of year. Here, at just over 800 meters above sea level, ridges and slopes rise gently, and the village streets gradually wind their way up to trails waiting to be explored, on foot or by bike, which is a natural fit in Quarna.
