ECCELLENZE DEL PIEMONTE IN VETRINA 2021: the White Truffle of Alba meets local Ossola excellences!

Rich program of events spread throughout Piedmont and at the Roddi Castle, with the participation of journalists and opinion leaders for the "real" experience of regional excellence.

From a pilot project to a consolidated and widespread event on the territory “Eccellenze del Piemonte in Vetrina”, launched last year by the virtual laboratory "Truffle Hub" at the Castle of Roddi, in the Alba area, on the occasion of the International Alba White Truffle Fair, it is back with an interesting calendar of events from October 2021 to January 2022: gourmet experiences at Roddi Castle with a series of thematic dinners curated by leading Piedmontese chefs including creativity, haute cuisine and traditional products, but also cooking school, sensory workshops on truffles and digital meetings on wine. Appointments of taste in the various Piedmont areas consisting of dinners in starred restaurants, where the White Truffle of Alba meets local excellences to discover recipes and typical products; finally, tastings in the regional wine shops of Piedmont to learn about the DOC and DOCG labels.

The 2021 calendar of the dinners of the "Eccellenze del Piemonte in Vetrina" naturally also involved our ATL and the territory of Distretto Turistico dei Laghi Monti e Valli which, represented by the starred Chef Giorgio Bartolucci of Domodossola, has chosen to celebrate the tasty cuisine of Ossola combining it with the Alba truffle in two important events:

Dinner at Castello di Roddi (CN) - 22/11/2021
Starred Menù by Chef Giorgio Bartolucci of Atelier Restaurant* Domodossola based on products from OssolaBettelmatt cheese, potato from Beura, meat Razza Bruna Piemontese, Valli Ossolane DOC wines . Combinations with Tartufo Bianco d'Alba.
present also Piodamara Distillati for a tasting of Gin from Vigezzo Valley.

Dinner at Atelier Restaurant* Domodossola (VB) - 30/11/2021
Starred Menù by Chef Bartolucci with products from Ossola Bettelmatt cheese, potato from Beura, Prunent Valli Ossolane DOC wine. Combinations with piedmontese products like rice, onion from Cureggio, sausages from Bra, meat Fassona, haselnuts. All dishes are enriched by slices of Tartufo Bianco d'Alba.

MINI PRESS TOUR for JOURNALISTS
In the afternoon of November 30th, Distretto has organized a little tour in the center of Domodossola for 5 journalists that were guests, accompanied by VisitPiemonte, with the visit of Centrale Idroelettrica di Verampio (Crodo) thanks to ENEL. Included in the mini-tour also a gourmet rest at Gastropub of Birrificio BALABIOTT to taste the handcrafted beer of Ossola. In collaboration with VisitPiemonte
