NORDIC WALKING ROUTE: "Nordic Walking Park" in Oggebbio - Route 4 - Gonte

Road access
To reach the starting point, take the A26 motorway towards Gravellona Toce, leaving at the exit for Verbania. Follow the signs for Verbania/Locarno (Switzerland).
After the town of Intra, a hamlet of Verbania, continue on the SS34 highway to Oggebbio.

Description of the itinerary
From Piazzale Italia in Gonte take the easy, asphalt road till you reach Cadessimo.
The route proceeds upwards through a wood (a stretch on which you need to be surefooted) to Quarcino (a visit to the town is recommended). The return route is along pleasant, easy to follow paths and roads. This route can be extended by proceeding from Cadessimo to Rancone and then on to Quarcino following route no. 5.
