San Michele's Church

The tradition attributes its foundation to ottone I Visconti (1075-1111), thollgh there are no sure evidences. The first bibliographical source to mention the church goes back to 1179. St. Michelewas the ancient Paris church of Massino as long as 1585. The original building was submitted to numberless recostruction: in the first half of the 15th century the church was given its present rectangular shape, with the roof sustained by three pairs of pillars by means of the arches.
