Church and fountain of San Giulio
The oratory of Saint Giulio, located between Opagliolo and Punta di Casaro, is surrounded by a thick forest. According to the legend it is here that Saint Giulio, before crossing the lake on his cloak, prayed to God promising to build the one hundredth church. Under the once frescoed arcade leading to the church there is a water spring that has always been object of devotion by local people; the water was believed to be able to bring on the rain during droughts and free the fields from insects harmful to the crops. The church has a single nave and at the end of it there is an altar beyond which is the choir. In 1984 both the church and the fountain were thouroughly restored..
