ItalianoCar-pooling: a new possibility for living a sustainable experience

In Verbano Cusio Ossola district it will be soon possible to travel by a method of transport called "car-pooling", consisting in sharing private cars in order to reduce costs of transport and create a form of sustainable mobility.
This practice has already spread in Northern Europe and in the US and it is developing in Italy too.
In particular, our Province strongly aims to valorise and protect its environment.
Thanks to an experimental project of Legambiente Sun Centre together with the Province Verbano Cusio Ossola, the Municipality of Verbania and the financial support of Cariplo Foundation and VCO Service Centre for Voluntary Work and Solidarity, groups of travellers will be able to easily organize their tours among lakes and mountains by a click.

I think it would be a good idea if there are websites where you can see if carpooling is done in your place. People can register their carpooling service and others that are from or near the place can reserve their seats.
