Just one block from the most beautiful lake in Europe, the jetty and the main parking square, only two minutes walk from the Conference Centre, the recently renovated Hotel Moderno offers a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere.
All bedrooms are quiet as they are facing the pedestrian centre of Stresa or the inner courtyard; individually furnished with elegant good taste, most with balcony, they all have private bathrooms with bath or shower, WC and hairdryer, telephone, safety box, satellite TV and air conditioning.
Well organized in all services, apart from the two dining rooms seating more than 130, there are two open-air “à la carte” restaurants: the GAZEBO offers candlelight dinners and has a veranda which opens on Stresa’s most ancient and characteristic street, and LA DAMIGIANA on the patio, under the shade of a centuries-old wisteria.
