Road access
To reach the starting point, take the A26 motorway towards Gravellona Toce, leaving at the exit for Verbania. Follow the signs for Verbania/Locarno (Switzerland).
After the town of Intra, a hamlet of Verbania, continue on the SS34 highway to Cannobio.

Description of the itinerary
Enchanting, panoramic route along the old mule track that led from Cannobio to Switzerland. Visits to the old villages, which all emerged across the mountainside, will leave you pleasantly surprised. Take care on the path from Formine to Ronco (stretches of Trail).
