Tactile Museum of Natural Sciences of the lake and mountains

The Tactile Museum will be a laboratory designed to offer a close-up, hands-on approach to the study of natural alpine, prealpine, lacustran and fluvial environments through dioramas and an exhibition of natural elements, the characteristic species of flora and fauna, found at high altitude peaks and glaciers, down through the lower mountainous regions and finally on the lake shores. All of the displays will be hands-on with explanations in both Braille as well as regular written texts. Additional facilities are planned, such as a small library with texts in Braille and audiovisual material and classrooms for laboratory workshops. A large outdoor terrace will house a collection of live samples of local plants and animal species.
