Special Natural Reserve of Fondotoce

The reserve covers about 360 hectares of the Toce plain with an enviroment heavily influenced by man, pleasant beaches and places perfect for relaxation.
The reed-thickets represent a truly striking element, one of the most extensive of Lake Maggiore, ideal for the reproduction of many species of lake fish and a great habitat for nesting, wintering and resting of numerous bird species. A convenient pedestrian trail and a bike track enable the visitors to enjoy the amazing landscape surrounded by green.
