The Pretorio is a small gothic-style building supported by pointed arches based on squat columns, built in 1348 and later, up to 1819, seat of the Lower Ossola governement. The Pretorio is surrounded by the most elegant residences, such as Villa Biraghi Lossetti (1650) next to the small church of Saint Marta.
