Oasi Pian dei Sali

Pian dei Sali is made up of a splendid recreational environment, surrounded by slopes covered with thick woods of conifers and hardwood trees.
The area is framed by high peaks, which border Switzerland.
This one and a half hectare plateau offers a nature-route, an area of ponds and a high altitude wet zone, a picnic area, a sports field, an area of geological interest and a singular azimuthal sun-dial - the shadow of the person indicates the hour engraved in the stone.
As far as fauna is concerned there are hoofed animals like roebuck, chamois and deer.
