The Valley Divedro located in the heart of the Lepontine Alps, connecting the Val d'Ossola with Valais through the Simplon. The valley is crossed by the River Diveria, born in Switzerland near the Simplon Pass and then end up south of Crevoladossola in the river Toce.The Valley Divedro continues even after the border. The first country after the Swiss border is Gondo. Continuing you reach the village of Simplon Dorf, finally reached the summit of the valley there is the famous and historical Simplon Pass, near which stands the Hospice Simplon.
