Collegiate Church of San Vittore

An ancient Romanesque, probably protochristian church rose on the area (V sec.), which was in charge of administrating the other churches scattered around the district.
The current church was built between 1708 and 1752 by Perrucchetti based on Filippo Cagnola’s project; the dome was completed in 1898 and was later plated with copper; the bell tower (designed in 1856 by the Intra resident Aluvisetti and completed in 1878 by Caramora), albeit shorter than originally planned, is separated from the church body and the belfry is composed of eight granitic columns.
