Eighteenth century art in Orta
It’s time for great art by the shores of Lake Orta. The town of Orta San Giulio hosts the exhibition “Il Lago. La pittura dell’Ottocento tra Piemonte e Lombardia” (The Lake – 18th Century Paintings in Piedmond and Lombardy).
The beautiful and historic rooms of Palazzo Penotti Umbertini showcase the masterpieces of the greatest artists that lived in Piedmont and Lombardy in the eighteenth century. The exhibition, which is part of the Ortissima project, runs until 3 October 2010.
