Since Sunday, March 14 the public boats of the Navigazione Lago d'Orta have been operative, reaching the Island of San Giulio as well as all destinations round the lake. The final competion of the first Italian Extreme Freeride Circuit, starting from March 23 in Northern Italy, is programmed in Macugnaga along the Canalone Marinelli, the first European face in terms of difference in height and the highest in the Alpine Chain.

The Distretto Turistico dei Laghi would kindly inform tourists and local citizens that on Friday, 23rd April there will be a general stop of the public transport on Lake Maggiore because of a 24 hours-strike of the Navigazione Lago Maggiore. The ferry company guarantees normal transport just from 6 to 8,40 a.m. and from 4.30 to 7.50 p.m. during the day.
