The tourist portal www.distrettolaghi.it has been enhanced with a precious section from the Welcoming and Tourist Promotion Agency recognised by Regione Piemonte for the tourist area that includes Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, Lake Mergozzo and the Ossola Valleys.

The creation of this new section arose from the need to satisfy the numerous requests and contacts that Distretto Turistico dei Laghi receives daily for support for articles, educational material, photographic and video materials, and various types of information for journalists and operators in the tourism sector. Per year, the number of contacts between trade operators and the media - exceedsd 500 requests, and Distrettp Turistico dei Laghi always answers quickly.
On this page, you can find our press releases and press kit, our latest news and announcements, our report about annual activities, video documentation, press reviews and much more.
We have also put together a section of photographs and multimedia material for journalists, researchers, undergraduates, tour operators and sector professionals to use as needed. In fact, this information is available to anyone who wants to learn more about tourism in our territory.
Specifically, the sections are:
- Press Kit: about 60 pages of presentations of the entire territory to be consulted and downloaded in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Japanese and Chinese. The same content is also available on practical USB keys with our logo.
- Press Releases and News: with the latest news and institutional innovations for the tourist sector of our competence.
- Activity Report: To view and download the report on the annual activities of Distretto Turistico dei Laghi, submitted annually during the General Assembly.
- B2B & Fairs: to illustrate the objectives and results of our participation in national and international trade fairs
- Press Tours: to illustrate the objectives and results of Educational Tours organized and supported by Distretto Turistico dei Laghi which are aimed towards presenting the territory (or specific tourist sectors) to journalists, tour operators and sector professionals
- Events: an overview - in chronological order and divided (possibly) by theme - of the main events taking place throughout the territory. The list is updated daily by Distretto dei Laghi, after it receives communications from organizers or promoters.
- About us: the press review of magazines, internet sites and various media, both national and international, which - thanks to the support of Distretto Turistico dei Laghi - have published articles focused on our beautiful territory.
- Gallery: a selection of the best images of the territory for immediate viewing, available in high definition, complete with a waiver to protect rights already attached to the page
- Videos: a selection of emotional presentation videos of the territory, immediately viewable and divided into thematic areas
- Ebooks: Our virtual library with a catalogue of all Distretto Turistico dei Laghi brochures, viewable, downloadable and printable after free registration on our site
