In Macugnaga the 24th edition of the San Bernardo Fair!

Without doubt it's one of the most important summer event in Piedmont: a 3 day-long event dealing with Walser and Alps traditions in a beautiful town so closed to Mount Rosa!

On Friday, July 2nd: at 14 - Townhall Square, Inauguration of the 10th edition of the Wooden Sculpture Exhibition "La Flora del Monte Rosa”, based on the theme "vegetal species from the Alps".
On Saturday, July 3rd and Sunday, July 4th: during the day, Wooden Sculpture Exhibition "La Flora del Monte Rosa”; at 16 - Kongresshaus, “ALBERI E FIORI DEL MONTE ROSA. LA VEGETAZIONE PIONIERA D’ALTA MONTAGNA TRA RICERCA SCIENTIFICA E INIZIATIVE DI VALORIZZAZIONE”, a conference about vegetal species from the Alps with the expert Paolo Crosa Lenz; at 21 - Kongresshaus, 13th edition of the INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MOUNTAIN MUSIC with the Chorus Monte Rosa and the Chorus Motta Rossa; during the night, homage of the San Bernardo's Insignia to Guido Bertolaso, Responsible for Italian Civil Defence.
On Sunday, July 4th: at 11, solemn San Bernardo Procession, Blessing of Mountain Equipment and Auction of Offers under the "Age-Old Lime"; then, concerts with country music groups and the "Alps Horns" group; at 15 - Townhall Square, prize giving to the 10th edition of the Wooden Sculpture Exhibition.
