In Gozzano the "Sagra Settembrina del Lago d'Orta"

September Feast of Lake Orta: in Gozzano on Sunday, 19th September

32 courtyards, 36 tasting points, several attractions, the music shows of the "A.N.A. Stella Alpina" Chorus from Berzonno, the "Farfadet" and “Due e Mezza” groups, Occitan dances and historical commemorations, free visits in 12 noble palaces and 18 exhibitions...
Here you are the "Sagra Settembrina del Lago D’Orta", scheduled on September 19th from 10.30 am to 8.30 pm and hosted in yards and palaces, streets and squares of the historical centre of Gozzano.

The event is being organised by the "Ascom" Association-Lake Orta Section with the patronage of the Municipality of Gozzano and the Province of Novara and the partnership of Distretto Turistico dei Laghi, Monti e Valli.

All day long the centre of Gozzano will be characterised by the flavours of the tipical food&wine of the area. You can buy the tasting-ticket (8 Euro for adults, 2 Euro for 3-12 years old children) and taste the best products of local gastronomy (i.e. búsôca, tapulón, pulenta dal murnée, strachin and mascarpa, home-made cold cuts, desserts, honey, etc.), wines of the hills of Novara and much more.
The trip by the tourist train "Trenino di Orta" from Gozzano to its Castle Hill is also included in the ticket.
3 Selling-points in the town: via Dante, via Godi and Piazza Ferrari–Ardicini.

At 4.30 pm the great show for children “State Buoni se potete” in the Oratory.

Shops extraordinary open, special restaurant tasting-menus and prices for the occasion.
Special tourist packages in the hotels.

Finally, the "Navigazione Lago d'Orta" will offer a beautiful trip on Lake Orta to those who buy and show the feast card (leaving from Pella, mini-cruise in the middle of the lake, visits on the Island of San Giulio and in Orta and back to Pella) at the extraordinary price of Euro 3,50.

“The event will be an unique occasion" - tells Elisa Godi, President of the "Ascom" Association-Lake Orta Section - "to let visitors as well as citizens appreciate our excellent cuisine and have fun, but also to promote local commerce and the town itself, which is rich in precious churches, architectures and monuments”.
