Arona and Angera are two enchanting towns next to each other but separated by the short southern part of Lake Maggiore. Their Borromeo fortresses are opposing and both able to give fascinating views as a present for tourists and visitors coming there. Attractions of Arona are the popular road around the lake and the holy mountain that jealously keeps the second highest statue in the world, the Colossus of S. Carlo. Angera is instead characterised by a rare example of perfectly maintained medieval castle. Between the two, fireworks “made in Hungary” are being launched from floating platforms located just in the centre of the lake.
On the lakesides of Arona and Angera from 11 p.m.!
The competition is part on the "White Night" of Arona: a long evening rich of events, music, markets, streets artists...
