The "Lunga Notte", a long night on August 7th will be one of the top summer events in Arona: starting from the afternoon with various shows to 11 p.m. when the great fireworks of Ungary programmed for the Fireworks World Championship "Fiori di Fuoco" will animate the sky of the town. Then music, songs and dancing will go on all night long till dawn along the main roads of the historical centre.
The road along the lake will be closed to cars but reachable easily thanks to a shuttle service from Piazzale di San Carlo to the centre.
Rock concerts with “Organi Geniali”, “Rego Silenta”, “Made to play” and "Lavori in corso” groups. Soft music and evergreens with Max and covers with Naso. Singer-song writers such as Ray Heffernam (Robbie Williams's "Angels" author) with “Corpi Acustici” and Charles Rolando (past-Passangers), Maria Olivero and Maurizio Fini will offer their personal music. Music and music again with Luca Gulli, Paolo Nicita, "Bravissimi Soul" and “I Tuoni” groups.
Blu Radio will follow all shows of the sleepless night.
Typical markets of handimade products along the lake while museums and the library won't close. Bookshop "Librami" will offer a "reading marathon" for those who will like to read in a loud voice their loved pages to the public.
Extraordinary opening of restaurants, cafes and pubs till 3 a.m. and shops till 2 a.m..
